As a solo performer he is a popular and repeat choice for many dance agencies including Somerset Dance Connections, Folk South West, Suffolk Dance, Swindon Dance, Ballroom Blitz, Bucks Dance and Sidmouth International Festival.

In addition to this solo work he performs with DanceAV, Broken Ankles and Rock The Boat and was the featured solo-ist in Stepback, a percussive dance production celebrating "old roots and new shoots".

Ross has also performed as part of Laurie Anderson's "100 violins" show in the 1997 Meltdown season at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, and most recently danced on stage at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane as the ghost of Dan Leno for BBC Worldwide Television.
