The Lost Boys
Martin
Percival
Martin was DanceAV's original Irish Dancer. Having previously worked
with the Irish Folk and Ballet Company, Clerkinworks and been an
original cast member of the
'Spirit of the Dance' he was running his own School of Irish Dance
when he joined DanceAV.
Martin left us to tour America with 'Lord of the Dance' where he
was understudy to the lead in the permanent Vegas cast: several
times a week Martin was himself 'Lord of the Dance' as he
will always remain in our hearts!
Martin returned briefly from the States to appearing in Colin Dunne
and Jean Butler's On Dangerous Ground but is now touring with Lord
of the Dance across Malaysia, Japan and the Far East where he is
re-united with our own Lee Payne!
Scott
Cripps
Scott was the beneficiary of the Andrew-Lloyd Webber scholarship
when we first met him at Arts Educational in London. Unfortunately
for us his time with DanceAV was cut short when he was offered regular
work teaching the chorus lines on the Pantomime circuit which would
help fund his studies. The most visible part of his legacy to us
is our popular number in tribute to the classic tap 'Shim Sham'.
Scott has now finished his course and at last sighting was appearing
in Beauty and The Beast in the West-end of London. Watch out for
him elsewhere too...if there's an opening in a tap show he's the
guy to fill it!
